About EVE Monitor
A browser-first companion for EVE Online null-sec pilots, built inside the EVE community by pilots who fly there every night.
What it is
EVE Monitor is a lightweight web app that helps a single pilot stay aware of what is happening around them: a per-system operational risk score, a local intel parser fed from your own chatlogs, killboard sanity-checks, in-browser audio cues, plus simple personal market and ratting trackers.
Everything runs in the browser. There is no heavy client to install, no overlay required, no automation of the EVE client. The optional desktop companion is also read-only and asks for explicit folder access before reading any file.
Who it is for
- Solo pilots who want a tidy, EULA-safe layer on top of their EVE client.
- Small groups who want an honest community tool rather than yet-another-overlay.
- Anyone curious about what their own data looks like, without having to give blanket ESI access at sign-in.
Principles
- Browser-first. Open the site, sign in with EVE, get going. No client mods.
- Minimum ESI by default. The public sign-in only asks for
publicData. Wallet, location, fleet and corp scopes are opt-in per feature. - No private intel as public. Per-pilot data stays in your account. Any future community statistics will be aggregated, anonymised and privacy-safe.
- Tokens stay server-side. We never display ESI tokens or refresh tokens in the UI.
- Honest about scope. EVE Monitor is a layer on top of the EVE client, not a replacement. It will never claim CCP endorsement.
